I really like children. When I was younger, I volunteered to help special needs kids overcome their fear of water and swimming. I now have grandkids. I left my IT job to spend more time with them. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with really smart kids but also kids that are at-risk and special needs children. Kids are not machines, they are unique and sometimes tough to introduce new people. I am good at building a connection with shy children. I help them with their homework and other problems they might have. I work in Maryland and Virginia and provide services like behavior management and practical strategies for life transitions.
