the other side vol. 1
The Other Side discusses “other-ness”: other states of existence, other locations, other beliefs, other relationships, etc. I include historical events and opinion to illustrate how “otherness” operates today often with questionable and arguably evil purposes, under human power, unchecked. e.g. violence against women, human trafficking, hidden incest, economic slavery, and racial divides: living as black, living as Arab, living as aborogines, Asian hate, and anti-semitism.
My first novel in The Other Side series, Shattered Mirrors, explores the role of humans and non-humans (spirits) as it relates to social equity and the human condition. The story involves a young woman who is in the ICU. Her journey physically and spiritually is told from the perspective of her friends.
